The Maple Leaf has been used as a symbol of Canada as far back as the 18th century and even before that the Aboriginal peoples of Canada were making sugar and syrup from the sap of the maple tree. The maple leaf flag was officially inaugerated in 1965 as Canada's national flag.
Each Fine Porcelain mug comes with a specially designed box that features the artwork and its descriptions. They stack up nicely and make a spectacular presentation.
